Math Multipliers Series: Math Advocacy Campaigns: Cities Leading the Way

Audience: PIE Network Leaders

Given the concerning state of student achievement in math, Network members are taking action to improve math outcomes. As a part of the PIE Network Math Multipliers series, this session will focus on local math advocacy campaigns. The discussion will explore the levers advocates can use to impact math in their local context, what local messaging campaigns have been successful, and how all advocates can support math advocacy at the local level. We’ll learn from Josh Boots (EmpowerK12), Lasana Tunica-El (E4E – NY), and Meredith Dodson (SF Parent Coalition) who are all engaged in advocacy work in their communities. Register to join.
