Chandani Wiersba

Portrait of Chandani in a black blazer with a blue blouse

Chandani's passion for events planning and building relationships was fostered through her facilitation training and education in intergroup dialogue at the University of Michigan. There she planned events for the University of Michigan Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Symposium; Yoni Ki Baat, a women of color social justice organization; and facilitated dialogues for the Program on Intergroup Relations Education. Prior to joining PIE Network, Chandani worked in student affairs at the University of Michigan, first in the School of Information, then in the Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion. She managed programs and supervised student staff to support first-generation, low-income, and students of color through tutoring initiatives, one-on-one coaching sessions, and community-building events.

Chandani uses she/her pronouns; Chandani is pronounced "Chaan-dha-nee".
