Rebecca Sibilia (EdFund)

Rebecca Sibilia is the founder of EdBuild, a nonprofit organization that advocates for a more fair and efficient school funding system. She has extensive experience in education finance and policy, having served as the COO and VP for Fiscal Strategy at StudentsFirst and the CFO for the DC Office of the State Superintendent of Education. She has a Bachelors degree in Political Science from Clemson University and an honorary fellowship in American Government from the University of South Carolina.

Lisa Hammersley (School & State Finance Project)

Lisa Hammersley is the Executive Director of the School and State Finance Project, a nonprofit organization that works to improve Connecticut’s school funding system and state finances. She has over a decade of experience in state budget and policy analysis, having worked as a senior staff member for the Republican Caucus of the Connecticut State Senate and as a budget specialist and analyst for the Office of Policy and Management. She holds a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Connecticut and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Central Connecticut State University. She lives in Southington, Connecticut with her family.

David Mansouri (SCORE)

David is the President and CEO of SCORE, a nonprofit organization that works to advance student achievement in Tennessee. He leads the strategic vision, the leadership team, and the partnerships of SCORE. He has over 10 years of experience in education advocacy and communications, and serves on the boards of PIE Network, Memphis Education Fund, and Hoover Education Success Initiative. He has also been a Pahara-Aspen Education Fellow and a Leadership Tennessee member. He is a Tennessee native and a graduate of Rice University and Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management. He has worked for US Senator Fred Thompson and Congressman Zach Wamp.

Arun Ramanathan (former ED of Pivot Learning and The Education Trust-West)

Dr. Arun Ramanathan is the former CEO of Pivot Learning, a nonprofit organization that helps schools and districts improve teaching and learning for all students. He has been an education leader, expert, and researcher in California, working as the Executive Director of the Education Trust-West, the Chief Student Services Officer for San Diego Unified, and the Research Director for the Modified Consent Decree in Los Angeles Unified. He is an immigrant and an English Learner who holds a B.A. from Dartmouth College, an M.Ed. from Boston College, and a doctorate from Harvard Graduate School of Education.
