Anna McDaniel-Wyatt

Anna (she/her/hers) is most passionate about building equitable, brave, and inclusive communities and schools for LGBTQIA2S+ individuals of all ages. As a leader, that work has taken her to and through different parts of the nonprofit sector and K-12 education landscape, including both school district employee and classroom experience. Before joining the PIE Network, Anna was the Communications Director for a membership-driven nonprofit capacity building organization; the Nonprofit Center of Northeast Florida. After graduating from the University of South Florida and working in the School District of Lee County, Anna completed a year of service with AmeriCorps VISTA at CAWS North Dakota. She began her teaching career in the School District of Lee County and left the classroom to earn her Master of Public Policy at Jacksonville University. She and her spouse are deeply engaged in their Jacksonville community and enjoy giving tours of the city’s rich cultural and civic history sites to family and friends.
