Kayla’s experience includes policy and advocacy work at the Foundation For Florida’s Future and ExcelinEd where she led monthly virtual convenings for school choice advocates and researchers, drafted blogs, and researched school choice, transportation, and next generation learning policies. Having grown up in Florida, Kayla utilized a number of public school choice and early college programs in middle and high school. This instilled in her the belief that all students should have access to the school that best meets their needs. She received her bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Florida A & M University. She earned her master's degree in Political Science from Florida State University.
