Zahava Stadler is the Project Director of the Education Funding Equity Initiative at New America, a think tank that explores how education policies affect the fairness and quality of public education. She has expertise in state school funding policy, school funding inequity, and the links between funding, housing, wealth, and race. She has worked at The Education Trust and EdBuild, two organizations that advocate for more equitable school funding. She holds master’s degrees in public administration and education policy from the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor’s degree in politics from Princeton University.
