Rabble Rousers Revisited is a guide for launching state-based education reform advocacy organizations, issued by the PIE Network in September 2010.  It benchmarks the lessons learned by education advocacy organizations (EAO) working to hasten education reform. The report, authored by PIE Network Executive Director Suzanne Tacheny Kubach, focuses on models for creating and sustaining these organizations, with emphasis on the start-up phase..

The report contains advice from many PIE Network members and profiles the start-up challenges of Advance Illinois, ConnCAN, EdVoice, Partnership for Learning, the Prichard Committee for Academic Excellence, and the Texas Institute for Education Reform. It provides a guide to would-be “rabble rousers” who want to effectively shift the balance of power in favor of the public’s interest.
